All Siouxland Dancers ages 2nd grade and up are invited to audition for the Wizard of Oz! Siouxland Civic Dance in collaboration with American Midwest Ballet will be presenting the Wizard of Oz on Friday April 14th at the Orpheum Theatre.

Auditions will be held on Friday January 13th at 5678! Dance Studio - (Ages 8-11) - Check In - 4:30-5:00 Audition 5:00-6:30pm (Ages 12 and Up) - Check In 6:30-7:00 Audition 7:00-8:30pm. Audition fee: $20 can be paid upon pre-registration or upon registration the day of.
- Wear to auditions: Female Dancers: Black Leotard, Pink tights, Pink Ballet Shoes, and Hair in Bun Male Dancers: Black Dance tights or shorts and White T-shirt.
Casting will be done the evening of January 13th - dancers will need to be available to learn and rehearse choreography on Saturday January 14, and possibly Sunday January 15th if needed.
If cast in the show, dancers will have a $50 fee if cast in the show to cover cost of costuming and cleaning - if families are in need of assistance for the costume fee or audition fee please contact Rebecca at balletsioux@gmail.com
Rehearsals will be held mostly on weekends to accommodate the variety of dancers auditioning for the production - please be sure to list any dates in the audition form for best scheduling. Rehearsal schedule will be sent after casting is complete to best accommodate all dancers schedules.
Dress Rehearsal and performance dates: There will be stage/dress rehearsals held on April 12th and 13th at the Orpheum to get dancers on stage with the company members. On April 14th we will be having a one act daytime performance for area schools - time TBA and our evening full show will be held at 7:30pm. Tickets will go on sale in the beginning of January!
