What is Ballet Sioux?
Ballet Sioux is a not for profit youth ballet company, designed to bring ballet performances, opportunities, and education to the SIouxland area.
Is it a studio?
No, we are a performance based ballet company, welcome to all dancers, no matter what studio they attend.
The company has weekly classes together and hosts rehearsals through the space generously donated by 5678! Dance Studio.
Does Ballet Sioux compete?
We as a company do not compete at any competition events. We highly encourage our company members that are interested in dance competition to work with their studio director to find opportunities available to them.
Who can audition for Ballet Sioux?
Any dancers over the age of 9 years with at least two years of ballet experience.
New this year Ballet SIoux will be offered as a workshop style education with no audition necessary!
Junior Company
Our Junior Company is made up of area dancers ages 9-12 years of age. In our Junior Company level we focus on the discipline of ballet technique, as well as, teaching the history, origin, and traditions of classical ballet.

Senior Company
Our Senior Company is made up of Siouxland area dancers ages 13 and older. In our Senior Company classes we focus on enhancing dancers classical ballet technique and movement quality. We strive to bring dancers the best opportunities in their class, providing them with education in pointe, classical variations, and contemporary ballet.
